Ingrid Van Keilegom is Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). She is the Programme Director of the Master of Statistics and Data Science at KU Leuven since 2020.  She previously taught at Pennsylvania State University, Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), and UCLouvain.

Her research focuses on survival analysis, non- and semiparametric regression, measurement errors, and mathematical statistics. Previously a recipient of two European Research Council (ERC) starting and advances grants, she is currently the Principal investigator of the project Inference in cure models when the follow-up is insufficient (senior research project fundamental research) of the Research Foundation-Flanders (FWO) and Co-investigator of the EOS project Actuaries and statisticians endeavour to design innovative, inclusive insurance products in a changing risk landscape of the Flemish and French speaking Research Councils in Belgium.

Internationally recognised by her peers, she received an honorary doctorate from the University of A Coruña (Spain) in 2022; she is an elected member of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts since 2021; and she is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (2013) and of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (2008).
