Portrait of Andrii Babii

Andrii Babii is Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC Chapel Hill). Among his editorial duties, he is Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics and Econometric Reviews.

Most of his research is in econometrics, including causal inference, high-dimensional data, and machine learning. His research focuses on mathematical and statistical foundations as well as applications. His recent work appears in the Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, and Econometric Theory.
