Niklas SCHOCH is a PhD candidate in Economics at Sciences Po, working on a thesis entitled Commitment in Uncertain Times: Investment Decisions, Price Volatility, and the EU ETS, under the supervision of Johannes Boehm and Stefan Pollinger.

His research lies at the intersection of environmental economics and industrial organisation. He uses structural methods to study the implications of carbon pricing on green technology adoption in concentrated industries. He also works on the market design of emissions trading systems.
