Friday Seminar with Clément Montes (JMC, CREST/Polytechnique PhD candidate)

Clément Montes is a PhD Candidate in Economics CREST-Polytechnique working on a thesis entitled Economics and politics of economic sanctions under the supervision of Alessandro Riboni (CREST-ENSAE, Polytechnique). He is currently a Teaching Fellow (ATER) at the Department and will be on the academic job market this Fall. 

His research interests are in Geoeconomics, International Trade, Industrial Organisation. He focuses on the economic and political design of geoeconomic tools and particularly interested in the (threat of) economic sanctions targeting specific firms.
