Régis Barnichon is a Senior Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco since 2016 in microeconomic research
macroeconomics, applied econometrics, labour. He is also a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) and a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Among his editorial duties, he is Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Econometrics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
His primary research fields are macroeconomics and econometrics.
He will present a paper, joint with Geert Mesters, at an exceptional seminar on the topic:
