Portrait of Leonard Goff

Leonard Goff is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Calgary since 2022. Prior to that he held a faculty position at the University of Georgia for two years.

His primary research fields are in Econometrics and Labour Economics. His research focuses on treatment effects and nonparametric identification, and topics in labour economics related to nonwage aspects of work and market power. He was the co-laureate of the American Statistical Association Zellner Thesis Award in Econometrics and Statistics in 2022, and has been awarded a number of important grants, notably a WorkRise Network Research Grant (with Matthew Knepper and Ian Schmutte).
