Alberto Bisin

Alberto BISIN is Professor at New York University (NYU) since 2007. He is also a Fellow at the Center for Experimental Social Sciences at NYU, at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and an Associate at ERINN. He was elected Fellow to the Econometric Society in 2012 and to the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET) in 2019.  Among his editorial duties, he is Associate Editor of the Journal of Comparative Economics, of the Journal of Economic Theory, of Economic Theory, and of Research in Economics / Ricerche Economiche. He is the Founding Editor of www.noisefromamerika.org.

His research interests span mathematical economics, finance, sociology, and decision theory. His main contributions are in the fields of social economics, financial economics, and behavioural economics. He is co-editor of the Handbook of Financial Economics.
