Xavier D'HAULTFŒUILLE is Professor of Economics at CREST-ENSAE. He is also the Director of the Labex 'Ecodec'. Among his editorial duties he is Associate editor for The Review of Economic Studies, Econometrics Journal, Econometric Theory, and of the Annals of Economics and Statistics.

His research interests span Econometric Theory, Empirical Industrial Organisation, and Labour Economics. He is currently the Principal Investigator of the ANR project 'On Treatment Effects estimation using LOngitudinal data' (OTELO). In 2019 he was awarded the Malinvaud Prize for his paper 'Fuzzy Differences-in-Differences', joint with Clément DE CHAISEMARTIN.
