Federico CILIBERTO is Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia. He is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and at DIW Berlin (the German Institute for Economic Research). Member of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Organization Society since 2018 and a Member of the Program Committee of the EARIE Annual Conference since 2015.

His research focuses on Industrial Organisation, Economics of Advertising, and Economics of the Airline Industry. He also works in the fields Applied Econometrics, Health Economics, and Economic History. He was awarded an important USDA Grant in 2018 for a three-year project on Genetically-Engineered Traits, Cross-Licensing and Competition in the U.S. Corn and Soybean Seed Industry.
