Botond KÓSZEGI is University Professor at the Central European University (CEU). He is also a Member of the Council of the European Economic Association. Among his editorial duties, he is notably a Board Editor of the American Economic Review. Prior to joining the CEU, and just after his PhD at MIT, he was a faculty member for several years at the University of California at Berkeley.

He is a theoretical economist with an interest in behavioural economics. His research has been awarded two prestigious ERC Starting and Advanced Grants.
