Axel GOTTFRIES is a Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh's School of Economics since Fall 2019. He was the McCalm Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, just after defending his doctoral thesis at Cambridge University.

His research interests focus on macroeconomics, labour economics and economic theory.

Axel GOTTFRIES will present a paper, joint with Mike ELSBY, Pawel KROLIKOWSKI, and Gary SOLON, at the next Departmental Seminar on the theme:
