Jean-Paul RENNE is Full Professor and Director of the Department of Economics at HEC Lausanne. He has served a number of institutions in the capacity of scientific consultant - among others: the European Central Bank (ECB), the Swiss State Secratariat of Economics Affairs, Banque de France - and served as Senior Economist of the Banque de France. 

His research focuses on time series analysis, macro-finance modelling, interest rates, and credit risk.
