Sciences Po is actively involved in sustainable development and has made environmental protection one of its priorities.

Sciences Po has implemented many environment-friendly initiatives, including:

• waste sorting on all Science Po sites, in partnership with a private company
• availability of recycling containers
• awareness of eco-labels regarding purchasing policies, furniture and printing
• energy-saving: “multifunction” equipment is favoured (printer/scanner/fax machine/photocopier); installation of automatic lighting regulators, based on available natural light.

Sciences Po environnement [Sciences Po Environment], one of the five permanent student associations, conducts awareness-raising campaigns with students and personnel in close partnership with the Sciences Po General Services and Real Estate division.
