Intensive Policy Lab: Academics
This summer, Sciences Po Paris will host a fast-paced, hands-on Policy Lab exploring practical impacts of conflicts on civilians. Designed as a collaborative sprint, this immersive programme blends expert-led lectures, diplomatic simulations, creative workshops, and team-based challenges.
Participants will dive deep into real-world dilemmas, prototype bold solutions, and sharpen the skills needed to navigate complexity with clarity, empathy, and impact. More than a course, it’s a space to think critically, act collectively, and reimagine the future of civilian protection.

Eligibility
The University Programmes are open to university students, graduates and professionals, as well as students in their final year of secondary school who will be enrolled in university in Fall 2026. This immersive programme is tailored for participants with a demonstrated interest in the corresponding field of study. Learn more.
Fees
- Tuition fees: 2 200 €
- Application fee: 50 €
Payment of the application fee is strictly non-refundable and can only be paid by credit card on the application platform.
How to apply
The University Programmes have rolling admissions. The admission jury meets regularly, and candidates may expect to receive a response approximately three weeks after submitting a complete application.
Candidates will need to provide the following information and documents as part of their application:
- Personal information (name, address, etc.)
- Identity card or passport
- Identity photo (for a potential student card)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic background information:
- Certificate of enrolment or proof of current student status (if applicable)
- Academic transcript (required for current students, recommended for graduates)
- Copy of previous diploma(s) obtained (if applicable)
- Language level verification for candidates who are not native English speakers. Find a list of accepted language level verifications on the Eligibility page.
- Explanation of motivation: This is an opportunity for you to explain your goals for your course of study at the Summer School. The text space is limited to 500 words or less. We strongly encourage candidates to prepare their response in advance to give due thought to this critical component of your application, and so as to streamline your application process. Motivation letters should be written in English.
