Elizabeth BEASLEY

Bio :

Elizabeth Beasley holds a PhD in Economics from Sciences Po, as well as an MPA/ID from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a JD from New York University Law School.  She earned her bachelor's degree in Social Studies from Harvard College.

Prior to her PhD research, she was the Director of J-PAL Europe, the European branch of a network of researchers focused on randomized evaluations, and a lawyer in the firm of Latham & Watkins. She has served as a consultant to the World Bank on multiple education projects, including randomized evaluations, in Kenya, Niger, and Madagascar. Her research focuses on public policy and program evaluation, and in particular on education and the development of human and social capital.
