For me, it started back in high school in Slovakia, where at Model European Parliament I saw how easily gender equality got dismissed as a 'solved' issue even among young people. That experience deepened my commitment to the cause and ultimately motivated me to apply to Sciences Po, where I explored gender through law, history, and sociology during my bachelor’s. In my Master's, it felt like the natural next step to learn how to turn that knowledge into concrete solutions through policymaking.

"Gender and Race in Literature and Visual Arts" I had during my bachelor’s studies in Reims, was an awakening for me in terms of decoding art and, through that, seeing the evolution of feminist movements in a much more in-depth, intimate way, which in turn made me more aware of the origins of the present-day issues.

After my current internship in UNESCO's Education Sector, I'm joining the European Commission's DG EAC as a Blue Book trainee in the Policy Strategy unit, where I hope to advance gender equality through education. As Europe currently rethinks the skills it values, I wish to help advance social and emotional education to be valued as foundational skills.
