In Memory of Ghazala Azmat

We have just learned of the death of our colleague Ghazala Azmat, Professor in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po and associate researcher at the Centre for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR), CESifo Economic Studies and the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA). She has chaired the Committee for the representation of women in economics within the European Economic Association (EEA). Part of her research focused on gender inequalities. As such, she was affiliated to the Gender Studies Programme (PRESAGE) at Sciences Po. 

We will remember her as an enthusiastic, willing, rigorous and caring colleague.
