The Revue des Juristes de Sciences Po is delighted to invite you to "Transatlantic Dialogue on the Future of Law & AI" — a full-day bilingual conference bringing together leading voices from both sides of the Atlantic.

Artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping the transatlantic landscape: transforming labor markets, straining democratic institutions, revolutionizing public administration, and redefining the boundaries of creative expression. Yet Europe and the United States are charting markedly divergent courses in response. While the US pursues a market-driven approach amid fierce strategic competition with China, the EU has adopted a proactive, rights-based regulatory framework designed to govern technology before its consequences fully materialize.

These competing philosophies generate real friction: American tech giants face mounting penalties for non-compliance with European rules, while EU legislative initiatives have themselves become flashpoints for political controversy. Against this backdrop of growing tension and fragmentation, coherent and responsible AI governance demands unprecedented transatlantic cooperation.

We look forward to exploring all of this — and more — across six panels with experts from both sides of the Atlantic:
