1 pl. Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, 75007, ParisOur series Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) conversations on current debates/crises was launched in 2023. We open this new year with a series of conversations dedicated to Accountability for mass atrocities in international law.
Multiple events are planned this semester in order to discuss, among others, the accountability of terrorist groups and nonstate actors, the collection of evidence of mass atrocities, the role of technology and AI in the commission of mass atrocities, the question of complicity of States, the role of the International Court of Justice, questions of ecocide and scholasticide, as well as the practices of censorship and the breaches to the freedom of expression.
Please join us for our first conversation this semester on: The International Criminal Court and the Situation in Palestine.
This conversation is aimed to take a hard look at the proceedings instituted before the International Criminal Court in relation to the situation in Gaza and the reactions they have sparked across the world.
