Invited Guest: Professor Emily Barritt

Law tells stories. But those stories are at best partial and at worst fictitious. As a result, legal tools can exacerbate the problems they are intended to resolve. By considering two pressing environmental issues – governance of the oceans and climate litigation – this class will consider how legal scholars can tell richer more nuanced stories about the law.
