On June 10th and 11th, Sciences Po Law School is hosting a private-public workshop titled Free Expression and the DSA. The tentative schedule for this event can be found here

The June 10th workshop is invitation-only and under Chatham House Rule. The workshop will discuss the EU’s Digital Services Act in the context of its impact on freedom of expression both inside and outside the EU. Attendees and discussants of this workshop will include legal academics with relevant areas of expertise; regulators and digital service coordinators; technological experts; and other civil society members actively working on DSA related topics.

While the June 10th event is invitation only, we kindly welcome your presence at the public workshop on June 11th, which will be open to participation from the broader Sciences Po community. Speakers and topics are subject to change, but presently include discussions about assessing risk across the DSA; VLOPs and bigness in the DSA & DMA; combatting disinformation in the US and EU; and the DSA’s third-party problem. A light breakfast and lunch will be served to all attendees and will conclude with a cocktail reception. If you are interested in attending, please register for June 11 here

This workshop was organized by Visiting Professor Kate Klonick and Sciences Po Law School. With any inquiries, please reach out to kate.klonick@sciencespo.fr or pierre.grivaz@sciencespo.fr
