Competition Law and Policy at times of Financialisation in the Food Sector

Légumes du marché

About this workshop

This invitation only exploratory workshop aims to generate discussion, hopefully opening up new horizons in competition law research. The workshop is part of the series of exploratory workshops regularly organised by the Centre for Law, Economics and Society at UCL Faculty of Laws, under the direction of Ioannis Lianos, in cooperation with other research centres around the world. The last exploratory workshop took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the topic of General Purpose Technologies and Competition Law (in collaboration with FGV Sao Paulo). The idea is to have an interactive discussion facilitated by some short introductory presentations (no more than 10 minutes each). Each participant will have the possibility to intervene in the roundtable. The discussions will be managed by a panel chair. There is no need for a powerpoint presentation but there will be powerpoint facilities for those wishing to present.

This workshop is a collaboration between the UCL Centre for Law, Economics and Society (CLES) and Sciences Po Law School.
