The Sciences Po Law School team consisted of four dedicated Master 2 students from the Global Governance Studies program and the Contentieux économique et Arbitrage program: Daniel Chan, Ana Cuartero de Vidiella, Liang Li and Zhaoyan Liu.

The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot is the oldest and most prestigious student competition in the area of investment arbitration. The participants must engage with a complex case-study that combines historical facts and contemporary legal issues in international investment law.

This year, teams from 23 countries competed in Frankfurt from March 4 th to 8 th 2019. After three challenging general rounds, the Sciences Po team proudly obtained 4 th place in the rankings.

The team would like to thank Sciences Po Law School for this opportunity, and in particular Professor Jean d’Aspremont for his learned guidance, Professor Makane Mbengue for his helpful advice, Kai-chieh Chan for his continuous support and Christian Scharling, our most dedicated coach and the powerhouse behind the entire team.
