Dissemination and preservation

As a research resource centre for more than 15 years, CDSP has acquired a reputation for expertise in the dissemination of data: data are shared securely and with high referencing values based on the OAIS (Open Archival Information System) standard.

Documentation

For the last 15 years, CDSP has been documenting and disseminating social science research and electoral results data in accordance with existing international standards (OAIS, DDI).

Valuation

The CDSP has developed recognised expertise in promoting social science methods, closely connected to its activities in data production, curation – documentation, anonymisation and metadata – and data dissemination.

Digital solutions

CDSP develops and integrates software solutions to facilitate social science research. These tools, most of them Open Source, underpin the life-cycle of data and metadata from collection through to dissemination.

Survey design

CDSP has developed expertise in the production of surveys through the creation of two large-scale instruments, ELIPSS at national level and ESS at European level. It is careful to apply the most rigorous scientific standards in the production of these surveys.
