Iramuteq is a free software package created by LERASS (Laboratoire d'Études et de Recherches Appliquées en Sciences Sociales).
It can be used to carry out statistical analyses of text corpora and individual/character tables. It is based on R (www.r-project.org) and the Python language.

R is a programming language and free software for statistics and data science supported by the R Foundation for Statistical Computing.

Sonal is free qualitative research software. It allows you to collect, organise, transcribe and analyse audio/video files.

SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is a pay-per-use statistical analysis software package created by SPSS.
Sciences Po has dedicated IT licences.
Version 25 of the software is currently installed on workstations at the Research Library, Saint-Thomas campus.
Stata is an integrated statistical analysis software package, used primarily in the fields of social sciences, economics and health. It offers features for data management, analysis and visualisation, enabling researchers to carry out a variety of statistical analyses, from descriptive statistics to advanced econometric models, whilst facilitating the reproducibility of research through its programming interface.
Access to the campus licence is available to all members of the Sciences Po community, including students, researchers, teaching staff and employees. More information here.
