From november 18th: BiblioDrive is back in operation

From November 18th, the loan and return of items is once again open to the Sciences Po community. Online requests for material via le catalogue will resume on the same day.

The library has been open since 4 November according to the very precise terms and conditions detailed in this article.

Online information is available from Monday to Friday. Do not hesitate to contact us!

Only the library at 27 rue Saint-Guillaume opens, the other Parisian libraries remain closed.

Other campus libraries are also open (check your library's timetables at the bottom of the page).

Respect to barrier gestures, physical distance and the wearing of a mask are required during the entire stay in the library.

Who?

Borrowing and returning books and working/studying/printing at the library are open to students, researchers and teachers who are members of the Sciences Po community. 

We offer a free subscription valid until 05/02/2021 to any reader interested in our material.
Accounts valid on 31/12/2020 will be automatically extended until 05/02/2021.

This subscription allows you to only use the loan/return service ("drive")

Access conditions :

1.  pre-registration online
2.  forward the pre-registration confirmation email to inscription.bib@sciencespo.fr with the followings attachments :

   1- a jpeg picture : except if you already have a reader's card (please let us know)

   2- a proof of residence less than 3 months old (electricity, gas, or telephone bill, rental agreement)

Your pre-registration will be processed in 3 days.

How?

To work/study at the library:

  • Access is only possible by booking a seat at the library: 
      • via the main entrance of Sciences Po, 27 rue Saint-Guillaume 
      • after checking the cards (student, teacher) or the invitation to the competitions and the booking confirmation e-mail.
  • Please notice that you need an exemption certificate to circulate and get to the library
      • download and fill in your exemption certificate from the French home office Ministère de l'intérieur) website or write it down on a paper
      • the situation box to check (or copy down) is "Commuting to and from work or university and training places; business trips that cannot be delayed"
      • be sure to have your ID documents and the booking confirmation or availability notice emailed by the library in order to prove your presence outdoors is authorized

  • Please note: during this period, items in the remote shops are not available for borrowing.

Printing

Specific time slots of 30 minutes are specifically dedicated to printing on reservation.

When? (Update November 27th)

Work/study at the library :

  • Monday to Friday from 9am to 7.30pm from November 30th to December 18th
  • Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Borrowing and returning books :

  • The circulation desk at the 25 rue St Guillaume Library building opens from Monday to Friday from 10am to 5.30pm.
  • You have 5 days to retrieve the requested items before they are sent back.
