Books under surveillance: when censorship goes beyond fiction

To mark Banned Books Week in the United States, the Library and the Maison des Arts & de la Création, in partnership with the NRF, are organising a day dedicated to book censorship and freedom of reading (FR).

To mark this event, the library is mobilising its teams to offer you a selection of resources to help you better understand this topic.

This selection highlights works on censorship and freedom of expression, as well as books that have been censored or contested in the United States or elsewhere :

• Droit (FR)
• Histoire (FR)
• Sociologie (FR) (à venir)
• Humanités (FR) (à venir)
