Work in the library

Some seats require prior reservation to be used. They are located in the quiet areas of the library. Please respect your reservation and your chosen seat, notify your arrival and departure and do not sit in these areas if you have not made a reservation. These three simple rules, if followed, will greatly enhance everyone's library experience. To find out more or to make a reservation, click here.

We also have four group work rooms at the Bibliothèque Saint-Guillaume. To reserve one of these rooms, the procedure is the same as for seats: go to sciencespo.libcal.com.

Apart from the library, Sciences Po has a number of work rooms at your disposal. You can reserve them through your school or use them freely if they are not reserved (check the roompad at the entrance to the room).

List of working rooms on Saint-Thomas campus:
K.021
K.025
K.029
L.002
L.004
L.008 (open-access recreation room)

Two rooms in 27 rue Saint-Guillaume’s hall are also at your disposal.

DO RESEARCH

It gives you access to all our printed collections (a large part of these documents are in book stacks, inaccessible to the public) and to a large part of our digital collections. It allows you to make loan requests and to locate documents in the reading room.

It references all the databases to which we subscribe (ebooks, press, scientific journals, thematic databases).

  • Documentary selections

In the library and online, the library regularly offers various thematic selections. The reference librarians also provide online subject guides.

STAY CONNECTED

The Jo in Bibli Instagram account was created last year on the initiative of a student working at the library. This year it has been taken over by another student working at the library. Follow his account to be sure not to miss anything!

The ScPoBibli Twitter account is managed by two librarians who follow library news and enlighten you on selected topics (Ukraine, open science, comics, environment, etc.). Check out our lists!
