Some of the milestones in the Sciences Po student year

August-September: Welcome Program / Orientation

The Welcome Program was designed to welcome foreign students coming to study at Sciences Po and to give them the information and tools they need to succeed. The Orientation Programme is designed for students entering first year.

November: Sciences Po job fair; as a major milestone in putting together a career plan, the job fair gives Sciences Po students and recent graduates an opportunity to talk with recruiters from all sectors. Other job fairs are held throughout the year and can be found at Sciences Po Avenir.

December: Book Signing Day (63rd DD in 2010): at this flagship Sciences Po cultural event, authors present and sign their books.

December: Graduation / Bachelors Degree: the Bachelors Degree marks the end of three years of undergraduate study.

March: The Crit’ is a sports competition between the nine Instituts d'études politiques (IEP) institutes in France.

April: Research Week is a series of  events organised to present research at Sciences Po.

May: Sciences Po Contemporary Art Award

May: Queer Week:lectures and student debates about social issues, workshops and festive events providing a scientific and entertaining focus the issue of gender in all its forms

May: The Sciences Po Collegiades brings together students from the seven undergraduate campuses for a multicultural sports and arts competition.

May: Sciences Po Gala; the entire Sciences Po community – students, teachers, administration and alumni – gathers for this Gala event marking the end of the academic year.

Late June / early July: Graduation / Masters Degree.
