The School of Management and Impact encourages intellectual debate on issues such as economic policy, sustainability of current economic growth and the "Future of Work". The “Agora de la décroissance prospère”, an event organized by the Alter Kapitae association on May 25 in the Boutmy amphitheater, was a success. The event, with its dense program and prestigious guests, attracted over 500 people.

>The Alter Kapitae association took part in a Capstone program of the International Business and Sustainability Master's program. The project involved organizing an Agora of Prosperous Degrowth. The aim of this event was to reinvent and question the imaginary at a time when the theme of degrowth is gaining ground in media discourse.

Three key themes were addressed: energy, ecological accounting and representations. The working groups were able to present the 15 ecological and social proposals that resulted from their work. Researchers (Eloi Laurent, Dominique Méda, Alexandre Rambaud) and ecological activists (Camille Etienne, Thomas Wagner, Cyril Dion...) presented their thoughts and debates at round tables and keynotes.

The agora was punctuated by exchanges between national and European parliamentarians such as Aurore Lalucq, Cécile Duflot and Delphine Batho, who were able to react to the proposals put forward.

An event rich in learning and sharing, co-constructed with students and contributing to public debate on the theme of economic growth!
