Viviane Spitzhofer

PhD Candidate


Viviane Spitzhofer is a doctoral student at CEE, Sciences Po. Her current research looks at national and regional dispersal of refugees and asylum seekers in European member states. Viviane Spitzhofer studied at Freie Universität Berlin, at Université Libre de Bruxelles and at Sciences Po Paris, where she focused on comparative politics, international migration and local/regional integration strategies. Before joining Sciences Po, CEE, she worked as a policy analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on the local dimension- and multi-level-governance of migrant integration in European cities. Ms Spitzhofer also worked as a civil servant and policy advisor for the commissioner for migration and integration of the Berlin Senate.
