Papa Mamadou Diouf

Papa Mamadou Diouf is pursuing his second year thesis in law and political science at the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD). His thesis focuses on the regulation by international law of the transport of hydrocarbons and more specifically on "The protection of the marine environment in Senegal: the contribution of international conventions in the legal framework of the transport of hydrocarbons at sea".

Papa Mamadou Diouf holds a Master's degree in Public Law, specialising in international relations, from the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar (UCAD). He is developing his research project in response to the economic and ecological upheavals represented by the recent discovery of oil and gas fields in Senegalese territorial waters.
