Two labs at 28 Rue des Saints-Pères
Sciences Po offers its students a self-service computer lab (no reservations required):
Room H005, located at 28 Rue des Saints-Pères (ground floor), equipped with 20 computers.
The room is open during the same hours as the building (7:45 AM to 9:00 PM: check with the attendants).
You may stay as long as necessary; food and drinks are prohibited. Remember to log out when you leave; you do not need to lock your workstation when you leave.
Computer Setup
To log in, use your Sciences Po username followed by the “@sciencespo.fr” extension and your usual password: prenom.nom@sciencespo.fr.
The computers are equipped with Microsoft Office and OpenOffice, as well as web browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox). For email, use Gmail (Google Apps).
These workstations allow you to access Sciences Po digital applications intended for local use only (for example, certain digital library resources).
Remember to save your documents when you leave, either to your Drive (Google Apps) or to a USB flash drive. This is because the workstations are automatically wiped every day (each time the computer is restarted).
Printing
Each room is equipped with printing facilities in the form of a multifunction copier. Please note: once initiated, your print jobs have a limited time window. You must release them promptly by logging in to the copier.
Public Computers in the Library
The library offers more than 60 computers (Apple and Windows PCs) available for free use in the following buildings:
- 27, rue Saint-Guillaume
- 1, Place Saint-Thomas
