Bio :

Mathieu Corteel, philosopher and historian of science, is affiliated to the Laboratoire interdisciplinaire d'évaluation des politiques publiques (LIEPP) at Sciences Po and a visiting scholar at the History of Science Department at Harvard (Arthur Sachs Fellowship winner). He is a specialist in the history of statistics applied to health and in the epistemology of medical technologies (AI and Big Data). He is currently participating in the ANR CrisOrg project and leads, in collaboration with Henri Bergeron, the ProbaPol project. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Multitudes for which he recently coordinated issue 75 "Renaissance de la clinique" and issue 78 "Cultivons nos intelligences artificielles". His first essay Le Hasard et le Pathologique was published in September 2020 by Presses de SciencesPo.
