Bio :

Julien Pascal joined the LIEPP in 2016 to complete his PhD in Economics under the supervision of Jean-Marc Robin. 

His research aims at investing social phenomena and public policies through a structural approach. In particular, his research is focused on analyzing complex markets involving both frictions and heterogeneous agents. In his Master’s dissertation, he analyzed the link between the bargaining power of different groups of workers and wage inequality. Currently, his projects include studying the minimum wage and the optimal taxation of labor along the business cycle.

Secondary research fields: computational economics, monetary economics, applied econometrics, network analysis, efficiency and competition analysis
