Health sociology

Bio :

Daniel Benamouzig develops his research interests at CNRS and at Sciences Po on health policies, economic sociology and governance.

A sociologist, he has studied history of health economics in France and transformations in the regulation of the sector, particularly through the creation of several agencies. He brings an interest and expertise in public organisations and the scientific field; like ANSES or the High Health Authority, as he is a member of the Commission of Economic Evaluation and Public Health (CEESP) and as he presides over the Committee of Human and Social Sciences. Danile Benamouzig participates in the organisation of research as the Deputy Director of the AVIESAN Alliance Institute for Public Health, in charge of coordinating major public operators in this area (CNRS, INSERM...).
