Bio :

Julien Blasco is an INSEE administrator and a PhD Candidate in Economics at CY Cergy Paris Université under the supervision of Clément Carbonnier. His work focuses on monetary inequality, poverty and material deprivation in France and abroad. He also evaluates the impact of socio-fiscal policies and redistribution on these subjects. He was an intern at LIEPP during the summer of 2017, then joined LIEPP as a Junior Policy Fellow in July 2018. His current projects relate to the  impact of consumption taxes on inequality around the world and to the dynamics of income inequality in France.
