Biography
Matthias Brunn is a postdoctoral researcher at LIEPP and a psychiatrist. He currently co-coordinates the DEPREFLEX project (DéPrescription et REFLEXions sur les freins et leviers), which analyses the determinants of the acceptability of drug deprescribing from the perspective of healthcare professionals and patients. He also co-coordinates the Decarbonising the healthcare system project and was part of the research team for the ‘genesis of medical school admission reform’ component of the REF-SANTE project.
After studying medicine, he obtained a doctorate in political science from Paris-Saclay University, analysing health reforms in France and Germany. His research focuses on the comparative analysis of health reforms and mental health policies. He also teaches health policy at EHESP (School of Advanced Studies in Public Health).
