Cycle of seminars "Transitions numériques" - TransNum

Over the last twenty years, digital transitions have led to profound economic, social and political changes, questioning and reshaping social sciences analyzes. If these practices and methods are the subject of specialized research, it is now important to study in a transversal and general way the effects of digital transitions in ours societies.  

As an interdisciplinary discussion space, the TransNum Seminar connects Sciences Po research community working on digital technology. Through examples of economic, political, social and legal transformations related to digitalization and their historical perspectives, the digital transitions seminar contribute to rethink the impact of digital technology in Sciences Po research fields. 

These seminars are coordinated by Domique Cardon (Médialab) and Bruno Palier (LIEPP). They are conceived primarily for Sciences Po's research community whose research projets are impacted by digital. 

This cycle of seminars are also open to an external audience.

  • December 20, 2019 : Surveillance numérique. Speakers : Didier Bigo, Fernanda Bruno, Gilles Favarel-Garrigues and Myrtille Picaud.
