The School of Research warmly congratulates Pauline Schumacher, a graduate of Sciences Po's Master's degree in History and winner of the Master thesis Prize 2025 awarded by the Institut François Mitterrand.

On 5 November, the Institute awarded its Thesis and Master's Prizes, which are intended to encourage scientific research on the life and work of François Mitterrand (1916-1996), as well as on the ‘Mitterrand Years’ (1981-1995).

The Master's Prize jury, chaired by Bernard Lachaise and composed of Frédéric Bozo, Dominique Bertinotti, Sabine Jansen, Jenny Raflik, Frédéric Turpin and Sébastien Repaire, awarded the prize to Pauline Schumacher's thesis entitled:

« L’énergie des socialistes. La fabrique d’un programme à contre-courant du productivisme de l’union de la gauche (1973-1977) ? », defended on 2 June 2025 at Sciences Po.

We extend our congratulations to Pauline Schumacher for this prestigious distinction, which highlights the excellence and quality of the research conducted within our Master's programme.
