Maud Yaïche quoted in Le Monde for the issue of Regards croisés sur l’économie entitled “Quand la propriété prive”

The article in Le Monde entitled ‘Repenser la propriété à l’heure des inégalités et des défis écologiques’, published on 27 February 2026, highlights the journal issue to which Maud Yaïche, a doctoral student at the medialab, contributed.
Maud Yaïche, a doctoral student at medialab, works on dreams using statistical methods and natural language processing. In an article published on 27 February in the newspaper Le Monde, she is credited with coordinating the latest issue of the journal Regards croisés sur l'économie, alongside Charles Delporte and Benjamin Castelanelli.
Maud chairs the journal, which features an issue with around twenty contributors, examining the role of private property in the current social order. As described in the article, this issue of the journal looks back at the history of property ownership and examines alternatives that could limit inequality and address environmental issues.
Maud Yaïche contributed to the writing of the following chapters:
- An editorial ‘Pourquoi penser et repenser la propriété ?’ on the historical hegemony of Western private property and the growing concentration of property rights;
- An interview with Katharina Pistor entitled ‘Comment les droits de propriété contribuent-ils aux inégalités ? Le pouvoir du codage juridique‘ which presents the jurist's thesis on capital as the product of legal 'coding';
- An interview with Maud Simonet entitled ‘Des communs pour, des communs contre le capital’ which focuses on ‘commons’ as hybrid realities, traversed by logics of work, commitment and commodification, where cooperation and capitalist appropriation intermingle.
