[CALL FOR APPLICATIONS] La Chancellerie Thesis Prize 2026
La Chancellerie as launched the 2026 call for applications for its thesis awards. Doctoral researchers are invited to carefully review the list of awards on offer and identify the one for which their application would be most relevant.
Before submitting your application, we recommend that you consult with your thesis supervisor and your doctoral programme director to determine the award that best suits your work and to request support from the Sciences Po Doctoral School.
Application procedure
Applications must be sent by 30 March 2026 at the latest to the following address: ed.direction@sciencespo.fr
Applications must be submitted in digital format (PDF) and include all of the following documents:
- a cover letter in French (maximum one double-sided page);
- a curriculum vitae in French;
- a short summary of the thesis in French (between 500 and 1,000 characters, including spaces);
- a full summary of the thesis in French (between 15 and 20 pages maximum);
- preliminary defence reports (in French or in the original language);
- the defence report or minutes (in French or in the original language);
- a letter of recommendation signed by the thesis supervisor concerning the application for the thesis prize, as well as, where applicable, those of a maximum of two other members of the jury (in French or in the original language);
- any additional information deemed useful concerning the research work;
- a copy of both sides of an identity document or passport;
- bank account details (provided by the bank);
- the complete version of the thesis in its original language.
Please note: any incomplete applications will be rejected.
