[Call for applications] Maison Française d'Oxford Scholarship 2026

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 call for applications for the Maison Française d’Oxford scholarship.

This scholarship is open to PhD candidates enrolled during the 2025–2026 academic year in the following disciplines:

• arts, humanities and social sciences,
• law and political science,
• or an interdisciplinary combination of these fields, science and technology.

We invite you to submit your applications by 30 March 2026 to ed.direction@sciencespo.fr, so that we may shortlist the applications.

Contents of the application

Each application must include the following documents, which must be in French (an English version may be included):

• the thesis proposal (between 15 and 20 pages maximum);
• the candidate’s curriculum vitae;
• a cover letter (maximum 1 page, double-sided) outlining the desired link with the Maison française and the University of Oxford;
• a letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor confirming this link and, where applicable, letters from two other individuals attesting to the academic merit of the research presented;
• proof of enrolment in a PhD programme for the current academic year.

Any incomplete application will not be forwarded to the selection panel
