Biography
Anouk Gohier is a PhD candidate at CERI, under the supervision of Bayram Balci and Eric Verdeil. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy (Research Track) from the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po. Her master’s thesis explored the governance of air pollution in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Her doctoral research focuses on the ongoing energy transformations in the cities of Bishkek and Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), and the local and regional political reconfigurations that accompany them.
Before starting her PhD, she worked as a science officer (VIA) at the cooperation and cultural action department (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Norway.
