How to Fix Social Media and Civic Life

About this event

11 March 2021 from 19:15 until 21:15

Ethan Zuckerman and Bruno Patino will explore with you a reasoned future of social networks.

How can we design social media to generate civic values and social change?

What could social networks could look like if their goals was not maximizing shareholder profit?

Couldn't the solution come from public funding?

The audience will have the opportunity to interact and debate with the speakers.

This event is included in one of the strong editorial lines for our “Nocturnes du jeudi” at the School of Management and Innovation. It is the third of our new series of discussions taking place on Thursdays at 7.15 p.m. around our core values and distinctive features, namely innovation, creativity and sustainable growth. In this slot, all the students of the School are free from any other commitment, and we open it to the entire Sciences Po community.
