Associate Professor at Sciences Po
Nicolas Sauger has been a Professor at Sciences Po since 2004. He was Vincent Wright Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute in Florence. His fields of research focus on the analysis of changes in structures of political competition in France and Europe. He pays particular interest to laboratory experiments in the social sciences and comparative repeated surveys.
Nicolas Sauger is co-director of the team "Evaluation of Democracy" of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for the Evaluation of Public Policies, member of the Planning Committee of the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems, and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Social Survey. He is also an appointed member of the Social Sciences commission of the Fonds National pour la Recherche Scientifique (Beligum).
He is directing at present a project on the political economy of voting
