SPNU is thrilled to invite you to its first conference of the semester on international humanitarian Law!

We will welcome Jean-Luc Prévoteau, legal adviser at the ministry of defence and teacher at Sciences Po Law School, and Rana Kharouf, judge assessor, Professor at PSIA and former advisor at the ICRC for Syria and in different UN Agencies (UNESCO, UNHCR and FAO). 

We will discuss what is international humanitarian law from the point of views of both the States and the Civil Society. We will also debate on how States take into account their international commitments when  leading operations, and how NGOs and Governements cooperate to enforce international humanitarian law.
