What was the landscape of disinformation concerning the conflict before? Has there been a significant transformation?

How is disinformation influencing public opinion or exacerbating tension in Israel, Palestine, and third countries? What are the repercussions on the conflict in real life?

This surge in disinformation poses significant risks, distorting the perception of events, shaping public opinions, and potentially fueling heightened tensions both within and beyond the countries involved in the conflict.

Let’s discuss this topic through a journalistic and a research point of view with Todd Helmus and William Marcellino, researchers at the RAND Corporation, both experts on disinformation and violent extremism and with Alessandro Accorsi, investigative journalist and Senior Analyst for the International Crisis Group.
