This workshop is organized within the framework of the CNRS-supported International Research Network "Contextualizing Radicalization: The Politics of Violent Extremism". It brings together four field researchers working on four different Middle Eastern countries (Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon), who will share their analyses on the contexts that drive people to violent extremism. This will be followed by a debate between the participants and with the audience.
