Launched in 2025, the Paris Climate School is the first of its kind in Europe. It brings together the full spectrum of disciplines cultivated at Sciences Po—political science, law, economics, history, and sociology—while engaging in close dialogue with environmental sciences, climate modelling, and systems thinking.
The Paris Climate School’s ambition is to form a new generation of public and private sector leaders, scholars, and practitioners who can:
- Grasp the systemic nature of ecological crises,
- Navigate the complex interdependencies between climate, biodiversity, energy, and social organization,
- And design robust, equitable, and scientifically grounded pathways for institutional, economic, and geopolitical transformation.
Through its interdisciplinary curriculum, embedded research agenda, and strong institutional partnerships, the Paris Climate School affirms Sciences Po’s mission to produce critical knowledge and actionable expertise in service of the common good.
